Sky Q

We have the basic SkyQ package in place, we have access to most of the channels and some are high definintion, no sky sports or cinema. It is very rare to see the availability of Sky Q HD on the park. There are current limitations when there is no broadband telephone lines available .

We now have broadband thank you to “Three” this means catch-up is available through sky.

There is no subscription based channels available without a phone line only the satellite and HD channels are available. You can still catch up, program, record and pause TV

Netflix is available free of charge so you now have access to thousands of film and tv programmes. There are other apps available BBC player, Spotify, Youtube and itv hub.

Our 3 mobile wifi router is limited to 10 devices two are required for SKYQ and Netflix. Currently we have a contract with Three which boasts of a much stronger signal. The Park WiFi and Wifinity are not used the signal is poor.

We are very pleased with SkyQ however atmospheric conditions can impact on the satellite signal so if the weather is bad you can expect interruptions.

How to switch on sky from the remotes

  1. Power up the TV remote – no signal go to source list button (21) select HDM4

  2. Press the power button on the sky remote
  3. select the home button

On demand is available for non subscription channels and programmes
